Synopsis of Position
Engineer will be required to design, implement and support all technologies related to Voice and VoIP Technologies. They will provide pre-sales support for all convergence technologies. Engineer will also be responsible for the following: PBX, IP Telephony, and Voice Mail. Engineer should possess knowledge in legacy TDM voice technologies. The Voice Engineer is expected to stay current with these technologies.

Required Skills
Candidate must have solid and successful experience in the disciplines defined above as well as excellent client interfacing skills, strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with all levels of management. Knowledge of VoIP products a must (i.e. types of products – Cisco CUCM, IOS routers, Nortel CS1000 and legacy voice PBX vendors). Fluent English is required. Ability to work varied hours and weekends a must. Written, oral, inter-personal and computer skills are a must. Ability to work in a team oriented environment. The ability to focus and effectively manage your time on projects is a must. Ability to adapt various systems and customer environments to a converged technology (i.e. convert a legacy TDM site to an IPT site).

Desired Skills
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of 7 – 10 years experience required in Voice and Voice related disciplines. Nortel Certifications in Voice technologies and Cisco CCVP certification are strongly preferred. The candidate must be a self-starter and demonstrate the ability to work within a team environment as well as in a standalone role.

Our client, an international architecture firm headquartered in New York City is seeking a Design Applications Manager with experience in the role to manage and support the design and CAD tools within the New York office, with additional management of Asia and London offices. Strong expertise and interest in CAD/BIM technologies, CAD, and 3D modeling is critical. The design applications include Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Inventor, McNeel’s Rhino and Grasshopper, 3D MAX, vRay, Mental Ray, Solidworks, etc.

The overall responsibilities include managing and supporting the design software implementation of the firm, and includes the setup and optimizing of AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D design applications on projects, designing and reinforcing standards, all vendor and consultant interaction, and all software modifications, customization and maintenance.

Training users and coordinating training by outside consultants of our applications and best practices will be important, as well as monitoring and maintaining project standards throughout New York as well as the offices. Skills with developing and deploying custom design tools for our applications are important.

The applicant should be experienced with the following:

§ Comfort with interacting with project teams and senior staff members
§ Knowledge of Revit Architecture 2010-2011 including customization
§ Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2010 including scripting and CUI

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Participates in broad range of network planning, architecture design, engineering, operational and change management activities related to the firm’s data center and distributed infrastructure. Assists in the planning, forecasting, implementation, and identification of resource requirements for network systems. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
•Maintain, update and design QoS requirements for voice/video and priority applications.

This person will design and create Oracle Clinical studies in conjunction with the Oracle Clinical developers, clinical data coordinators, and study project team leaders.
